We are at it again. Progress doesn't come easy. Try as we might, some things are hard not to notice. In this case, you can't miss that we are resurfacing the pool. WHAT IS HAPPENING The pool has been drained and the old surface is being stripped away. (This is the worst part.) It is noisy and is expected to take no more than 2-3 days. Well, unfortunately the storm put a little damper on Day 1 of the annual seafood fest at John's Pass but they had some clearing by late Saturday. The weather looks good moving forward.   Many of you on Facebook saw the photo of the sun glistening like diamonds on the Gulf. Just a quick note to let everyone know that the pool resurfacing is complete. It's been a little chilly - by Florida standards - so it will take a few days for the water to get heated up but you are able to catch some sunshine around the pool again. Who would have thought taking photos of a hotel room would be such a challenge? Because...well...mirrors! Anyway, here is a little preview of what we have in store for the transformation.
